I HAVE A GARDEN A LOVELY GARDEN !

This is our garden, you might think so what, big deal! but it is a big deal If you had seen that spot before we got started, and if you knew just how I truly feel about WEEDS! I hate them!!! And if you knew about my first attemps at a gardening. It left very deep scars. It was all hard work and nothing but weeds! So here we are with a new garden, thanks to Spencer, Megan and Steve, they built the first 2 big raised bed boxes for me for Mothers Day and weeded the majority of the weeds out of the area. Then Stephen and I did the rest. I kind of feel that its a self care, low maintaince garden now. And the very best part is the watering system Stephen has installed with a TIMER. No Worries, Hassle free. We figure that so far the tomatoes, peas and 4 strawberries have cost us about 50.00 dollars each. But my gosh they are GOOD.....

COOPER10 months old, he is huge...

WELL I FINALLY REMEMBERED MY PASS WORD!

I keep looking at your great blogs and think I need to up date mine. So here are the high lights. The girls are growing like weeds and sometimes I think "just what kind of weeds did we get?" Avrie is so smart and is quick with a come back, that keeps us all on our toes. And June is full of the cutest cat poop their is! She uses her words very sparingly, like she will wear them out or maybe its to make you work to hear them. I think its that she realizes already that she has all of the power and that keeps everyone in line. She does really communicate quite well with a very nice scream. It can actually hurt your ears at times. It a good thing she is so darn cute and can be really sweet if in the mood. June also really loves music and will sing to you and hums little tunes. We are still doing the same things, I work at the hospital and Steve is doing the cows, He has been really busy with a big flush and getting every thing out on pasture. His leg has mended better then expected, that's what his doctors keep telling us. We also just had a surprise birthday party for his 50th. Thanks to all of you who came it was so fun. Anjerie did a great job of putting it all together. Well I will try and do a better job with the updates because I love seeing yours. well then later...

Katraya and Avrie best buddies

Traya got to go to Porta Vallarta Mexico with a bunch of friends. She got her first taste of Zip lining. She said that it was so fun. She got home before chirstmas. Avrie was very happy about that,as she loves Traya, they have a special bond. Since Traya has moved back to WA it been hard for Avrie, Traya was there when Avrie was born and lived at Skot and Anjerie for most of Avries short life. She is living in Monore WA with Mia and loving it.

THE BIG PINCH!!!

Steve had the misfortune of being stuck between the big white truck and the bucket of the loader for about 15 min. on Dec 7Th. He had his back to the loader and was moving hay on the bed of the white truck, both pieces were running. The loader moved about 4 feet coming up behind him pinning him between the tire and the loader bucket, breaking his femur, causing a compound fracture. He called 911 and then tried the boys, to get someone to come move the loader off of him as it was continuing to push. A neighbor was out for a walk after being sick for 4 months(she will never walk past our house again) Steve hollered at her, she came over and he talked her into moving that big loader. I talked to her later and she said that she "just kept praying to God that she was moving the loader in the right direction and that her foot was on the brake". Steve said that she was "crying pretty hard when they put him in the ambulance". I talked to him on his cell phone on his trip to Harboriew Hosp. He said that he "felt pretty bad about ruining that ladies day". He had surgery that afternoon and spent 5 days in the hosp. We just got his stitches out on the 30Th of Dec. They are impressed at how well he is healing, due to the amount of soft tissue damage he had recieved. Iam not surprised, his brother Jason and nephew Jason Jr. where at the Hosp. when he came out of 4 hours of surgery, and he received a priesthood blessing. He can't remember it, he was snoring through a good amount of it,(lots of medication on board, for which we are both happy.) But I have no worries that it would go any other way. We are so blessed and watched over, If that bucket had been a little higher the outcome would have been very different. Thanks to a very kind Heavenly Father for his tender mercies. I am humbled. Steve will be toe touch weight bearing for 10 weeks. His surgeon said at least 3 months before he will be climbing into the feed truck.. Skyler thank goodness was at a point that he could leave his job come home to take over for his dad, so between him, Greg, and my nephew Nathan, they are keeping things feed and in off of the roads.
We are blessed.
